The 1940s UK Radio Station is a product of Swing Jive Entertainments. As well as being an internet based radio station we are also available to hire our public address systems to service public events. For 1940s vintage shows and events we can also provide the atmosphere of the 1940s that is essential to the overall presentation of any 1940s and re-enactment event. Our music, news and ambiant sound effects library of the period is unrivaled. We are also able to provide public announcements and a commentary booth for re-enactment groups and other exhibitors to inform the public about their displays. Our audio system is of exceptional quality and can also be used to provide a focal point for live music. We have a proven track record for our ability to cope with high profile events and yet still provide the personal touch when providing entertainment for all event sizes. Our fees for providing event PA coverage starts from just £280.00* our possibilities are only limited by your budget. For outside events we can come self contained with our own generators. The Entertainments National Service Association, or ENSA was an organisation set up in 1939 by impresario Basil Dean and the British Government to provide entertainment for British armed forces personnel during World War 2. ENSA operated as part of the Navy, Army and Air Force Institutes (NAAFI).

To veterans from all conflicts here and in Europe even the USA. A beautiful live vocalist with a wide range of vocal ability specializing in bringing back the wonderful melodies of the WW2 era, swing and tribute songs. A small lady with an amazing voice, catch her live performance on U Tube, the Band of Brothers sang in her own heartfelt and moving way.
Songs made famous by Dame Vera Lynn, Gracie Fields, Anne Shelton, Ella Fitzgerald and today's Katherine Jenkins to name a few.
KAS has already sang on TV and Radio and many major events throughout the UK and Europe. Having been made an Ambassador by the Prince Trust along the way. This year being chosen to meet Prince Charles and celebrities who are Ambassadors to the Trust themselves, such as Damian Lewis, Kevin Spacey, Gwyneth Paltrow, to name a few.

The Jive Aces are the UK's top Jive & Swing band. Renowned for their hot, swinging music and high-energy stage show playing songs made famous by such greats as Bobby Darin, Louis Prima and Sammy Davis Jnr as well as featuring a selection of superb originals.
The Jive Aces brought the house down at thousands of festivals, theatres, and dance halls throughout the UK, Europe, the USA and beyond, also making hundreds of TV and radio appearances world-wide.
This in-demand six piece have worked with Van Morrison, John Travolta and Isaac Hayes and many others as well as performing for HRH Prince Philip. Thier latest album, "Recipe for Rhythm", recorded in Hollywood, California, features very special guests Chick Corea, Mr. Acker Bilk, Mark Isham, Vic Flick and Toni Elizabeth Prima (daughter of Louis Prima and Keely Smith).

Bob Kerrs Whoopee Band Musical Comedy at its best
Bobs inspiration was Spike Jones and the City Slickers who produced all the great american comedy songs through out the 1940s Bob's Whoopee band is one of only a few that reproduce this style of comedy today on stage.
The WHOOPEE BAND have performed on stage and TV in most European countries, had their own 45 minute TV show in Germany, not to mention their very own TV series for London Weekend Television in the 70's, it was called "Making Whoopee". They have worked with many leading stars including Lion......el Bart, Peter Cook & Dudley More and Max Wall. They have toured with Ralph McTell, Manhattan Transfer and many more.
