Wickenby Wings and Wheels 2012

Wickenby Wings and Wheels 2012 takes place on Father's Day weekend, 16th & 17th June. Hundreds of people will visit Wickenby Airshow, open weekend and fly-in. There will be visiting aircraft from around the UK, a large collection of vintage cars and motorcycles, plus children's entertainments, 4x4 off-roading and great food available.

Our airshow always entertains the crowds, with displays from the Britain's top aerobatic pilots, the Breighton Collection, the WW1 Airco DH2, iconic Tiger Moth and many more!

Saturday evening's 'Fun of the 40s' charity dinner-dance has a fantastic atmosphere that rivals the post-war victory parties. The authentic 1940s marquee is a great backdrop for the live swing band and 1940s disco. Ticket prices included a hot carved buffet followed by strawberries and cream, and there's a bar and dance floor. There were breath-taking aerial displays from Gerald Cooper in the Sbach 300 and sunset aerobatics from the Swip Duo. Each year we have fund raising activities for a selected charity so please bring some spare change for raffles!
